Studio Roozen has developed a proofing system for designers: 'Workflow op roozen'. Research for this system was partly supported by an innovation subsidy granted by Syntens, in 2003, in co-operation with colour specialist Erik Koldenhof. This RGB workflow solution with its own FOGRA-certified proofing system, secures complete colour accuracy according to ISO 12746-2:2004, and adheres to NIDF and MediaNova standards. It means cost reduction, speed and total accuracy of your offline results. Since 2005, this method has been applied with great success by the Van Gogh Museum for worldwide digital reproduction of its collection.

Studio Roozen’s prepress for offset printing is fully integrated with ICC colour management systems. This includes a full RGB workflow and certified PDFs (following Ghent PDF Workgroup standards), with ISO-certified colour separation (FOGRA profiles). For colour verification, EyeOne and GretagMacbeth Mesuretool are used. The entire process is described in our special manual for designers, DTP specialists, photographers and printers.

Studio Roozen sets the standards
Creative agencies want top-quality printing with full colour accuracy, but still have little confidence in the standards provided by the graphics industry. This is hardly a surprise, as each printer seems to have its own commercial colour management solution. The truth is, though, that professional colour matching and secure printing results are perfectly feasible, even without added cost!
