In 2002, Studio Roozen was asked to design and produce a cookery book for Restaurant De Kas in Amsterdam, which led to the studio setting up as a recognised publishing house. The intensive two-year co-operation with the restaurant’s founder Gert Jan Hageman paid off. In fact, the result was such a resounding success, that book publishing has now become one of the services offered by Studio Roozen.
The expertise gained over the years in fields such as art direction, editing, translation, photography, reproduction, typesetting and printing, has set us up to see through the full publishing trajectory. Although Studio Roozen is not a commercial publishing house, it offers publishing as an added value, to improve the effectiveness of your book.
